Swatched: Avon Supershock Gel Eyeliner Pencil

I haven't bought from Avon for years but was in the market for a new eyeliner when I saw this reviewed on Beauty Boudoir's blog here and had to give it a try.

First up the packaging which is glossy black with a pink/lilac lace design and lettering.

Supershock is an old-school eyeliner pencil (i.e one you need to sharpen rather than the automatic/twist up kind)

Application wise it has the consistency of gel liner but in pencil form - really creamy with absolutely no dragging - and as you can see from the next pic is super pigmented too.

It also gives amazing transfer onto your waterline (something I find most eyeliners struggle with) and lasts pretty much all day without smudging.

The Supershock eyeliner is available on Avon's site for £6.00 - they also do a silver version if you're after a bit of sparkle - and there are lots available on ebay too.

Until next time,

  1. Yay, glad you love it too :)

It's definitely my HG eyeliner now (though I still love my Rimmel Exaggerate too)

  3. I'm shocked Avon do such a great liner too.
Have even been browsing on their website to see if anything else catches my eye ( a few mascaras have!)

  4. This liner did not work for me at all unfortunately.
I found that when swatched on my hand it stayed there for ever but it was totally different when I applied on on my waterline.
I did a post showing the changes hour after hour and it was a complete disappointment. The only pencil eyeliner that mor or less lasts long enough is the Double Wear by Estee Lauder,
